Walchem's new World Headquarters, in Holliston, Massachusetts was completed in February, 1989. At 30,000 square feet, we quickly outgrew it. Expanded to over 52,000 square feet in 1996, our facility now boasts a cavernous common space housing the sales, customer service and purchasing team in a communication enhancing layout that provides work space for a team of just under 100 people. Our fiber-optically connected computer network provides our teams with instantaneous access to all the most important information in the company. Process integration on the network is an ongoing project, yielding daily improvement and innovation in our methods of operation. Our high-ceiling, well-lit production areas, set up in discreet product-oriented manufacturing pods have allowed dramatic gains in productivity, quality, and lead-time reduction.
