Behnk Elektronik develops and produces the instruments necessary for determining blood coagulation values. ‘Simple in principle – innovative in detail’. Centred around this philosophy, our engineers have been setting technical standards in clinical coagulation for over 25 years. With Behnk ball coagulometers, which employ two patented detection methods: an opto-mechanical system for plasma assays on clotting, chromogenic substrates and immunology, and a mechanical detection system for clotting tests with whole blood and plasma.
Processing is conducted on our automatic analyzers under high levels of performance pressure. That is why they are conceived to increase efficiency and reduce sources of human errors. Fully and semi-automatic processing enables a large hourly sample throughput and eliminates mix-ups.
