Manufactured to extremely tight tolerances, Sapphire products consist primarily of fluidic and optical components such as pistons, balls/seats, check valves, pump heads, manifolds, flow-cell assemblies, precision dispense pumps, syringe valve alternatives, and rotary solenoid valves. Sapphire manufactures and assembles precision-machined components, including those from materials such as 316 stainless steel, titanium, PEEK™, CTFE, and other chemically resistant metals and plastics.

Metals and plastics. Sapphire Engineering offers a comprehensive array of machining services, specializing in complex, burr-free, high-precision turning, milling, and processing of high performance engineering thermoplastics and corrosion-resistant metals.

Ultrahard materials. With more than a century of expertise, Sapphire Engineering is the world expert in processing ultrahard materials such as sapphire, ruby, and ceramics — including alumina and zirconia variants. The company can hold tolerances as small as 0.00001" in these materials and surface finishes down to 0.25 microinch (Ra).

Finishing/assembly. To complement world-class machining and ultrahard materials processing, Sapphire Engineering features to-specification custom finishing and assembly of complex, fully tested, turnkey assemblies.
