 Crystal Instruments (CI) is an engineering firm focused on data acquisition, dynamic signal analysis and measurement data management. With over ten years' experience creating embedded and DSP systems for structural testing, product evaluation, algorithm implementation and application software programming, CI's products and technology are in use today by many of the world's leading companies, industrial providers and government agencies.

In 2007, CI introduced CoCo-80, the first handheld data recorder, real-time dynamic signal analyzer and vibration data collector that matches the performance of high-end lab-quality instrumentation. With its extremely compact form factor, low-power and rugged design, the CoCo-80 is ideal for field use. CoCo-80 is equipped with 4, 8 or 16 input channels and can accurately measure and record both dynamic and static signals. The mass flash memory can record 8 channels of streaming signals simultaneously up to 102.4 kHz. The combination of the dedicated human interface on the CoCo-80 and the PC based computer interface make it versatile and easy to use.

CI also provides engineering services in hardware and software development. The CI team includes more than 40 product managers and engineers. Most have Masters Degrees in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or other related engineering fields. Each of CI's key engineers has more then 10 years' engineering experience. CI's engineers hold a number of patents in the areas of data acquisition, real-time control and signal analysis.
