Claremont BioSolutions Moves into Europe, Taiwan, S. Korea with Distribution Deals

NEW YORK (GenomeWeb News) – Molecular diagnostics products firm Claremont BioSolutions has signed deals to distribute its products in Europe, Taiwan, and South Korea.

The deals, announced on Thursday, are with Gentaur Molecular Products, based in Belgium; Ohhana Biotech in Taiwan; and Omics Biotech of South Korea, who will distribute Claremont's products for sample preparation, DNA isolation, and protein purification.

The distributors will sell Claremont's products to the academic, government, and biotech spaces. Financial and other terms of the deals were not disclosed.

Claremont is based in Upland, Calif., and develops and markets cell lysis, DNA and RNA extraction, and His-tagged protein purification kits and columns. In December the company announced distribution deals with Funakoshi covering Japan and with Bioquote covering the UK and Ireland.
