2013年7月31日 位于美国伍德兰德斯的理学美国公司(Rigaku Americas Corporation)宣布,公司已经收购了Emerald Bio的结晶试剂和耗材业务,包括结晶筛选工具。Emerald Bio位于华盛顿班布里奇岛。两家公司已经同意共同开发蛋白质科学领域的新产品和解决方案。

Rigaku Corporation, has developed a new partnership in the field of protein science with Emerald Bio, acquiring their crystallization reagent and consumable business.

Rigaku, the leading supplier of X-ray instrumentation and automation equipment for structural biology, has acquired the crystallization reagent and consumable business, including the popular Wizard™ screens, from Emerald Bio, a world leader in protein science. In addition, both companies have agreed to work together to develop new products and solutions in the growing field of protein science.
